Techstars Startup Week Dayton 2018

Another Startup Week is in the books, and man sakes, was it a good one!
Over the course of June 11-15, we saw over 900 people assemble at the Steam Plant to celebrate entrepreneurship, learn from one another, and connect in a meaningful way!
Over 85 volunteers donated their time, skills, expertise, and friendly smiles to host over 50 sessions that helped to inspire, resource, and educate new and soon-to-be entrepreneurs.
We learned about bootstrap marketing tactics, raising capital, and building brands with purpose. We heard from GM’s Global Head of Innovation about how to build the midwest into a world-class tech hub. We laughed as a group of entrepreneurs battled it out to see who knew the Dayton startup community better in a friendly game of Family Feud. We met new faces, brainstormed ideas for building a more supportive entrepreneurial ecosystem in our region, and cheered the Dayton Dragons on from the Party Deck.
All in all, it was an amazing week and we’re already excited to get started planning Techstars Startup Week Dayton 2019!
