UDRI’s FASTLANE Manufacturing Extension Partnership is teaming up with NASA’s Glenn Research Center in Cleveland for the FASTLANE – 2016 NASA Tech Connect Event.
FASTLANE – 2016 NASA Tech Connect offers manufacturers located in the Greater Dayton region the opportunity to spend one full day receiving one-on-one technical advice from a NASA Glenn experts. The selected companies will have the opportunity to get direct access to NASA’s capabilities and expertise to overcome technical challenges and expand their business.

NASA Glenn’s expertise covers basic engineering disciplines as well as the specialty fields that support the center’s core competencies:
- Power, Energy Storage and Conversion
- Materials and Structures for Extreme Environments
- Air-Breathing Propulsion
- Communications Technology and Development
- In-Space Propulsion and Cryogenic Fluids Management
- Physical Sciences and Biomedical Technologies
Applicants must be a US owned manufacturing company located in the Greater Dayton region and have 25 or more employees.
Applicants will need to have a technical challenge, that once solved, will generate revenue for their business and create additional jobs for the Dayton area.
FASTLANE – 2016 NASA Tech Connect is an invitation only event and will be held on Tuesday, August 23, 2016.
Interested manufacturers will need to apply. All applications must be submitted by Friday, May 6, 2016.
Invited manufacturers will be notified and provided additional details in June. All selected manufacturers will also be given the opportunity to apply for an additional 32 hours of technical assistance at a later date.
