A West Dayton boutique is offering shelf space for up-and-coming retail entrepreneurs who are looking for their first retail space.
Jazmine Chandler is the founder of Atlanta Vibez Boutique, located at 11 Bennington Dr., Dayton. She was born and raised in Atlanta, but moved to Dayton last spring. She launched her business in 2022.
We recently caught up with her to learn about her business.
Launch Dayton: Introduce yourself — who are you and what is your company?
Jazmine: My name is Jaz and I’m the owner of Atlanta Vibez Boutique. Atlanta Vibez was established in 2022, here in Dayton, Ohio! Why?? Well, I am originally born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia. I’ve been here in Dayton for a year now! My whole mindset was to bring Atlanta to Dayton. From our style to the way we vibe! I knew I would be the perfect individual to execute a facility that would be able to cater to multiple needs and keep you all coming back for more. This one-stop shop is built on family and passion. You will feel right at home and be well taken care of. We sell clothes, hair, and lashes. We also partner with local vendors and sell their awesome and amazing products. We offer beauty services, as well as host events! It’s a vibe you don’t want to miss! Come catch the vibe!!!!
How did your company start?
Atlanta Vibez originated in 2022 after I separated from a corporate company in December of 2021. I am thankful for this transition because it inspired me to build an empire of my own.
Why this idea?
I always had interest in fashion, and I’m also a licensed cosmetologist.
Did you always want to be an entrepreneur?
Yes, I’ve always had an entrepreneur mindset!
What identities or life experiences do you bring to entrepreneurship that helped prepare you for this lifestyle?
I’ve always displayed leadership skills.
Why do you love what you do?
I have a passion for what I do because enhancing women beauty makes me feel good!
What advice would you offer fellow or aspiring entrepreneurs?
