City of Fairborn launches Spark Labs

May 1, 2018

Last year at Dayton Startup Week, the City of Fairborn announced its plan to be the first municipality in the Dayton region to launch a City-supported and operated business incubator. The incubator, which has been named Spark Fairborn, is currently under construction and is expected to open its doors later this Fall. Their smaller gluten-free food enterprise incubator Spark Gluten-Free is already in operation and houses a half a dozen allergy-conscious foodpreneurs.

Not wanting to wait until Spark Fairborn construction is complete to support local entrepreneurs in their business endeavors, though, the City has announced that they will be running Spark Labs, a series of educational programming designed to spark business growth, from their temporary Spark Fairborn location at 311 W Main Street in historic downtown Fairborn.

We, at Dayton Tech Guide, are thrilled that we have been able to partner with the City and assist in the development of that programming! The first Spark Lab entitled Ignite your Business is this Thursday and is covering the topic of brand development and customer acquisition.
