About the Speaker: Kris Shepherd was appointed President and General Manager of GE Aerospace’s Electrical Power Systems business in March 2024 and is based at the Dayton headquarters. He oversees the development, delivery and support of the company’s power solutions for defense and civil customers. A Cincinnati native, Kris began his career as a manufacturing engineer at Ford before joining GE’s Technical Leadership Program in 1995 and later taking on a series of engineering, customer support and leadership roles across the company. He went on to lead major commercial and defense engine programs, including the introduction of the LEAP-1B engine for the Boeing 737 MAX and later the Mobility Engines and Marine business.
