Wright Ventures

Modeled after ABC TV’s reality competition Shark Tank, this entrepreneurial opportunity offers aspiring Wright State entrepreneurs a real-life, lasting business startup experience. Held annually in late March or early April, the program features participants making professional business presentations to a panel of industry experts known as the “Wolves.” To prepare for the competition, participants have access to valuable, free workshops in entrepreneurial business planning, marketing, finance, and operations throughout January and February. Sponsored entirely by Wright State faculty, staff, and local and regional sponsors, the initiative provides a completely free platform for networking, mentorship, idea development, product design, and service creation.
